Uncle Walter warns on media ownership
Walter Cronkite, once named the most trusted public figure in the country, warns that media companies are threatening American democracy.

Miles, I think Cronkite doesn't fully understand how the media landscape has evolved over the last few years. I work with the national association of broadcasters and our local stations are having a hard time competing with the internet, cable and satellite for precious advertising dollars.
New media choices are all well and good but the ownership rules need to be modernized to mirror the landscape.
